After years of gross sales progress, widespread withdrawal of BYD dealerships had been reported in giant Chinese cities throughout 2010 on account of excessively fast growth, restricted mannequin range, and inside competitors that offered difficulties for sellers.

its annual production target from 800,000 to 600,000 autos, but fell brief,

purchased a BJ6490D, an electric car made by Beijing Second Auto Works
that was built off an imported knock-down equipment of the Holden Commodore VN station wagon. The BJ6490D
was powered by golf cart batteries, with a variety
of about a hundred km (62 mi) and a high pace of ninety two km/h (57 mph).
